AMMONITES:
Ammonitida, are an extinct group of marine animals belonging to the cephalopod
subclass Ammonoidea. Most of Madagascar ammonites are Cleoniceras and we are
getting them directly in southwest Madagascar mostly polished or cut into two
halfs. Many specimens have a nice angled segments,but most rare are iridescent
ammonites – red fire ammonites. Sizes can be from few millimetres up to dozens
of centimeters. Colours are mostly shade of brown and yellow,sometimes you will
see almost white or black specimens, sometimes rainbow iridescent. We can offer
many beautifull unique specimens from our stocks with hope, that you get a right
one for your collection.
